Aerate Greens

Bert and his crew are underway aerating greens.  They should have both 9's done by Monday April, 30th.  With a little moisture and a few warm nights the greens will be in the best shape they've been in in years.  Please have patience with us during this process.  It is vital to making our greens great the rest of the summer.

I'm looking for a place to play this summer in the area. A friend of mine played here this spring and said the greens were awful. Have they recovered yet?

The greens have recovered well from aeration. By mid May they will be in very good shape and will continue to get better.

The greens were aerated in early may and yes have been pretty rough putting. Unfortunately due to the climate in this area it takes a few weeks for them to heal up. By the end of the month with the weather getting warmer they should be putting really well.

Buffalo always has the worst greens in the area. You should play in the state am regardless of its local. Have fun playing the golf course where everyone is drunk. What a dump!!

I guess thats why people from Sheridan, Gillette, and Casper come and play here weekly. Plus, the only course close to Buffalo's in the area is the Powder Horn.

If you looked at the state am results, you'd find that the scores from the first day at Buffalo GC was one of the highest scoring in 10 years! Plus you wouldn't have a chance with how Bert put the hole positions.
